When using cell phones, smartphones, tablets, and other portables devices, we ask that you be courteous to others and respectful of your surroundings.

Places where the use of cell phones, smart phones, tablets, etc., are prohibited.

The use of cell phones and other portable devices is prohibited in the following areas. Please turn them off before entering.

Due to the usage of medical devices and other equipment, we reserve the right to prohibit the use of portable devices in the following places:

  • Exam rooms (including waiting rooms)
  • Testing rooms (radiology testing division, physiological testing division)
  • Operating rooms
  • Treatment rooms (main treatment room, each department’s treatment rooms)
  • ICU Bldg.
  • Neonatal Center
  • Dialysis Center

Requests for all patients and visitors

  1. Please use all your electronic devices at least 1 meter away from electronic medical devices.
  2. In areas in the hospital where use is not prohibited, please set your device to silent mode.
  3. In order to protect personal and medical information, we ask that you refrain from taking pictures/videos and recording audio.
  4. Please refrain from talking on the phone or texting while walking as well as speaking loudly over the phone.
  5. If instructed by hospital staff regarding the use of portable devices, please follow the instructions.
  6. Please respect the rules and general manners. Those who cannot follow the rules may find their use of hospital services limited.
  7. Please refrain from using portable devices after the lights are turned off in the hospital wards.

Regarding the hospital PHS system

  • In our hospital, we utilize a PHS for medical use that enables us to communicate closely with each other and act quickly in times of emergency.
  • We have already confirmed that the radio waves from the hospital PHS do not affect medical devices and related equipment. We ask for your cooperation and understanding.
