Regarding Changes to the Mask-Wearing Policy (Starting July 13, 2026)

As ofJuly 13, 2026
Print this page

To date, our hospital has requested that everyone wear masks within the hospital facilities as a measure to prevent infections, primarily considering COVID-19.
Having considered changes in the situation surrounding infectious diseases, we will make the wearing of masks within the hospital optional starting Monday, July 13, 2026.

However, we ask for your continued cooperation in wearing a mask in the following situations.

Situations in Which We Ask You to Wear a Mask

  • If you have symptoms suggestive of an infectious disease, such as a cough, sneezing, a runny nose, or a fever.
  • In cases where, due to circumstances in a medical department, division, or ward, we ask all the patients to wear masks.

※Depending on the patient's condition and the nature of the medical care, staff may ask you to wear a mask.
※Please note that mask-wearing rules are subject to change depending on the situation of infectious diseases in the local area and within the hospital.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation regarding the mask-wearing policy within our hospital facilities.
We ask for your continued understanding and cooperation with our infection control measures to protect our patients.
