Due to recent surges in consumer prices and utility costs, we will revise our childbirth-related fees effective September 1, 2026.
We ask for your understanding regarding this fee adjustment, as it is necessary to ensure we can continue to maintain our medical services and provide safe childbirth care.

- In addition to the above expenses, additional fees such as newborn care fee (10,000 yen/day), various newborn examination fees, and the Japan Obstetric Compensation System enrollment fee are required.
- If any additional medical treatments or procedures (including C-sections) are required during childbirth, these expenses will be partially covered by health insurance, and thus the actual amount will vary depending on the specific medical procedures performed.
*If you have your health insurance association pay the Childbirth Lump-Sum Allowance (500,000 yen) directly to our hospital, you will only need to pay the difference between total medical expenses and the said allowance.
*If your medical expenses are going to be covered by your health insurance, but the out-of-pocket cost is high, you can use the Eligibility Certificate for Ceiling-Amount Application to limit your payment to a certain amount.
For Those Wishing to Have a Painless Delivery
- Our hospital provides painless delivery (epidural anesthesia) administered by an anesthesiologist.
- This is only for patients who have consulted with the Anesthesiology Department during pregnancy checkups, received a full explanation, and given their consent.
- The procedure may not be provided at night or while emergency surgeries are in progress.
- An additional fee of 50,000 yen (tax-exempt) is required for painless delivery (excluding emergencies). This fee covers all specialized needles and anesthetics used for the procedure.
