This hospital’s medical system related to COVID-19 infection

This hospital accepts hospitalization of people with COVID-19 infection, including severe infection.

In principle, this hospital does not accept people who visit the hospital without referral letters requesting tests for COVID-19 infection, and does not perform such tests with emergency outpatients.

If judged by the responsible physician to be required, on the basis of the results of examination/treatment at this hospital, the symptoms, and/or the disease progression, tests for COVID-19 infection may sometimes be performed. However, there are limited time slots when these tests can be performed, so, depending upon the timing and severity, the patient may be examined on an exclusively outpatient basis on a different date.

People who have symptoms suggesting COVID-19, and wish to be tested, should be examined/treated on the basis of appointment at a local fever outpatient clinic or consider contacting facilities such as the Chiba Coronavirus Hotline for Foreign Residents.
