【Alert】Beware of Suspicious Phone Calls and Invoices Claiming to Be from Our Hospital

Recently, we have received many reports of suspicious calls from someone claiming to be a doctor or staff at our hospital, as well as incidents involving unfamiliar invoices bearing our hospital’s name.

Most recently, we have confirmed incidents in which callers have said
”Your family member is hospitalized at our hospital and needs to pay a large medical bill,”or “You have to pay immediately,”
and then sent invoices bearing our hospital’s name.

We would never suddenly call a patient to demand payment of a high medical bill, nor would we ask a patient’s family to send money immediately.

If you receive any phone calls, bills, or suspicious messages that you do not recognize, there is a high likelihood that they could be part of a scam. Please hang up and contact the local police department immediately.

Even if you received an invoice bearing our hospital’s name, when you do not recognize the charges, please be sure to contact our hospital (0476-22-2311) to verify the details before making any payment.
