the Patient Support Center When your doctor determines that you need to be hospitalized, you will receive the “Application for Hospitalization Appointment” form. Please submit the form to the Patient Support Center (Counter No.4 on the 1st floor) to complete the reservation.
For those on the waiting list for hospitalization, we will call you as soon as a bed becomes available for you. Please note that we may contact you the day before your admission date.
As the number of rooms is limited, please understand that the room assigned at the time of admission may differ from the one you requested (private room or four-bedded shared room).
On the day of admission, please come to the Patient Support Center (Counter No. 4 on the 1st floor) at the appointed time and hand over all necessary forms which you need to fill out at home beforehand. We will check all these documents.
*If you are admitted on a weekend or holiday, please go directly to the nurses' station of the ward where you will be hospitalized.
If you have to change or cancel your admission date due to inevitable reasons, please contact the corresponding outpatient department as soon as possible by phone or other means.
We have a responsibility for providing treatment and nursing care with patients in severe conditions who require specialized treatment and those in acute stages suffering sudden illness and requiring emergency care.
In order to accommodate such patients requiring emergency care as many as possible, we shall ask other patients who have completed treatment in the acute stage to receive continuous care at local medical institutions including rehabilitation hospitals, long-term care hospitals, and nursing care facilities.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
If you request a private room, room rates would be charged as specified separately. For room rates, see the “Guide to Ward Rooms” below.
The priority for our parking space is given to outpatients, and thus continuous parking during hospitalization is not allowed. Moreover, a long-term parking would be extremely expensive.
Parking fees: Free within 30 minutes, 200 yen within 1 hour, and 100 yen / 30 minutes thereafter.
For those who pick up/drop off a patient upon admission or discharge and for those accompanying patients during surgery and childbirth, one parking ticket per patient is free. Please get the parking ticket stamped at the nurse station in the ward for acknowledgement and then show the ticket again at the Parking Checking Counter in the lobby on the 1st floor or at the nighttime emergency reception desk to receive an approval stamp.
Hospitalization fees are calculated based on DPC (Diagnosis Procedure Combination), a “flat-rate payment” formula based on comprehensive evaluation.
Hospitalization expenses shall be closed at the end of each month, and a bill will be sent to you around the 10th of the following month.
For a short-term hospitalization, a bill should be issued at discharge. Please bring the bill to the accounting counter on the 1st floor or use the automated teller machine for payment.
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(During the out-of-hours period, please go to the nighttime emergency reception desk.)
You can pay in cash or by debit card/credit card.
Please be careful not to lose the receipt of payment, as it will be required for claiming high-cost medical expense benefits and applying for a medical expense deduction for income tax purposes.

If you are 70 years old or over, “Eligibility Certificate for Ceiling-Amount Application and Reduction of the Standard Amount of Patient Liability” may be issued in some cases. Please contact your local city hall.
